Vision is a priceless gift, essential for experiencing the world’s beauty and navigating daily life.
Recognizing its significance, Noon Hospital has taken a commendable step towards addressing vision-related issues, particularly blindness, in the society.
In a heartfelt gesture of community service, Sh. Govind Gupta, in memory of his late father, Sh. Lal Chand ji Gupta, organized an eye camp. This initiative aimed to assist the society by offering free eye check-ups and cataract surgeries, ensuring they can once again appreciate the wonderful world. Indeed, the true value of sight is often realized only when it’s lost.
During this event, the dedicated staff and doctors of Noon Hospital paid their respects to Shri Lal Chand Ji Medatwal. The medical team, including eye specialists, examined over 230 patients, educating them about eye care, especially in today’s digital age. They highlighted the risks posed by prolonged exposure to screens like mobiles and laptops and the current threat of eye flu. Out of those examined, 30+ individuals were identified for cataract surgeries.
HOD Opthalmology, Dr. Gauri Roopam Srivastav (MS) emphasized the importance of safeguarding the vision of both the elderly and the young. She advised the elderly to avoid pollution and dust, while urging parents to limit their children’s screen time, promoting physical activities for overall well-being. She also stressed the importance of seeking medical attention promptly for any vision-related issues.
The event saw the presence of many esteemed individuals, including Govind Gupta, Food Sector Service Institute President; HOD and Senior Ophthalmologist Dr. Gauri Rupam Srivastava, Dr. Rahul Mahala, Dr. Bishnoi, Dr. Jay Narayan Singh, Dr. Samarth Ram, Isha Bhatnagar, Manager Operation, Pratap Singh Jhala Public relations Manager, and many others. Special thanks to all the guests, including Santosh Patni, Radheshyam Gupta, Rajesh Nagar, and the entire team of Noon Hospital doctors & staff for their unwavering support.
In conclusion, such initiatives highlight the importance of community involvement in addressing pressing health issues. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved for their dedication and commitment to this noble cause.
