Being Human Camp

A Free Laparoscopic General Surgical Camp and Gynecological Surgery Camp was organized at Noon hospital on 25 & 26 March 2016. The camp was organized at Noon hospital in collaboration with Mr. Salman Khan’s (Renowned Bolywood Actor) Being Human Foundation.

World renowned consultant surgeon, Dr Muffazal Lakdawala and Dr Archana Bhaskar formed the Laparoscopic General Surgery team. Dr. Neeta Warty (Best Gynecological Endoscopic Surgeon in Mumbai) and Dr Raj Sawant formed Laparoscopic Gynecological Surgery team. Both this team was supported by other junior surgeons from Mumbai. The in house surgeons Dr Hameed Mansury (Consultant General Surgeon, Noon hospital) and Dr Megha Gupta (Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology Surgeon, Noon hospital) was active participant for the camp other than the anesthetist, the operation theatre nurses and other support staff.

The two day long camp was a successful event where thirty two poor and needy patients were operated completely free of cost. This was one of it kinds of a camp for the entire district of Jhalawar. Critical cases where handled by the team of surgeons. This camp was a milestone, this in future had made the team at Noon hospital perform more and more difficult cases with ease.This two day camp was well appreciated in the entire Jhalwar district.
